Prince of Peace

PRINCE OF PEACE

I have to admit, when I began creating this piece, I really had nothing in mind except to share with the world how beautiful my Jesus is. Kind of like that song..."Let me tell you about my Jesus."

I myself was fully at peace while creating it, just playing around as artists sometimes do. However when I was near finished, I stood back at looked at it, and what hit me was as the title says, "Prince of Peace." Relaxed, in complete control with no worries on His mind.

I decided to bring it before my publishers and distributors for the same reason I stated in the beginning of this message... to once again, present before the world the beauty of Jesus Christ. Those of us who know Him, not just know about Him, but know Him, also know that any image we may have of Christ does not show His true beauty within. That is where He shines the most.

As the Son of God, His plate is always full. Yet, He, the Holy spirit and the Father as well, take time to hear our individual prayers, no matter how small they may be. His love at times is overwhelming, yet ever so gentle. His  voice is a soft whisper deep inside us, and although He has the weight of the entire universe upon His shoulders, He can at times have a quite notable sense of humor nonetheless.

Yes, Jesus is all that and more. He also is the Lion of Judah. A fierce protector of His people. His wisdom goes far beyond our comprehension and understanding, yet in His genius, He takes complex things and makes them simple enough for a child to understand. Why would I not use all the talent He has given me, along with the direction of the Holy Spirit, to share how beautiful He is. So I do. I have for over 50 years now and shall until He calls me home.

Anyway, I best wrap this up or I shall have 50 more pages on "Oh, how I love the Lord."
