FROM HIM, TO HIM AND FOR HIM

All things are from Him, to Him and for Him

"For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen."

Romans 11:36

This has been one of my favorite verses, I use it more than any other verse I know. To me, it says it all. He Is! Basically a shorter verse saying the same thing. In John 15:5 Jesus says "Without me, ye can do nothing."

Have you ever really considered John's verse, "Without me You can do nothing."  Try to think of one thing you could do without Him. There isn't anything. Even if you do nothing and just sit there, you can't without Him. For He made you, every part, so without Him you would have no bones of flesh, you would merely be a puddle on the floor. Actually you would not even be that because all your fluids were created by Him as well.

However, even though all this is true, it was not what motivated me to do this piece. My entire life I had tried to bring honor and glory to Him before the world.

My motivation in this  piece, was to show (as best as I could) the glory of Lord Jesus Christ. There is no earthly way to accurately show or depict His glory on canvas. There is no way to reveal all the wonderful colors that make up the visual of His glory, and even if you could, His glory is not something one could imitate in any medium.

However, I wanted to try. I wanted to try to reveal to the world know just how gorgeous and beautiful Christ is. His divine splendor goes beyond words or earthy pigments. I only hope, in some small way, I have presented my Lord as He is - simply wonderful! If I have accomplished that, then in-spite of all my short comings, it has been a success.

There is however on detail in the painting that many of you might have missed - the key around His neck. This is the key to hell that Jesus went after when He went into hell for those 3 days. He holds the key so that none of us ever have to enter into that dark place ourself. It adds to the Glory of Christ. There is no other name above His. He Is! Lord of lords and King of kings forever and ever. Amen.
