LET'S DO LIFE TOGETHER

I wanted to do a very personal painting of Jesus and all of us. Something that might illustrate just how in touch He is with us, in every aspect of our life. He made us, He said He has definite plans for us, all laid out if we follow Him. (Jeremiah 29:11) He wants to be so very close to Him and the Holy Spirit's guidance that He made a way for Himself to actually exist within us. He wants to do life with us, that is His heart's desire. And if we love Him as we claim, it should be our heart's desire as well.

The Lord is not a God who creates something and then let's it do it's own thing, only to harshly correct that creation when they make bad choices. No, the Lord sincerely cares about His 'masterpiece' - us. Just like when we have children, we do not have them, then let them go outside unattended to be hit by a car when they enter into a busy street. How much more does your heavenly Father care and love you? He will not let you go unattended into a busy street (the world) because He loves and cares for you, just as you love and care for your children.

If God loves us so much, do you honestly believe He would send His Son down here to suffer and die for us, teach us His ways, only be distant? God sincerely wants to be along side you, in you, feeling all you feel, even to the point of hearing your quiet gentle sighs during the night. He wants to do Life with you, all your life with you. To share all the experiences, together. How else can He teach you and guide you if He does not know every aspect of you and your life?

We know He is real. We walk with Him and talk to Him many times during the day, but others who do not have Christ living within us do not. Many still have the old notion that God is somewhere up in the heavens far away. He is not. He is right there beside you. When Christ said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." He did not mean leave you to some other distant land... He meant He will not leave you, not even a half and inch because He wants to know all you experience, learn and partake of in your life down here.

Remember your first true love? How deep in love you were with that person? How you wanted to be with them every second, if you could, you wanted to literally climb inside them because you loved them that much. Jesus feels the same, He is inside you you have accepted Him as Lord of your life. Jesus has never lost that "first love" feeling for you, and never shall. Nothing can separate you from Christ.

The painting before you was created for us believers, to comfort us and take us back to our first love with Him, but more so... I created the painting mostly for those who have not yet accepted Christ but perhaps are thinking about it. Like the bible says, we are in the great harvest times. We are. Maybe you can even consider this new painting as a "recruiting poster" if you will. That was my heart felt motivation into creating it. That, the Holy Spirit's might lead an unsaved one into accepting Christ as their savior. The Lord coaxed me into creating this piece in physical form so all of you could see the vision He gave me to these regards.

I am getting older, and many times I have thought my painting for the Lord had come to an end, but the Lord says, "Not so my child, not so." When He calls on me, my answer shall be, "Here I am Lord! Choose me to do thine will."
