REGAL WEAR
I stop to ponder if they carry that line at Macy's, Dillard's, or Target?
While steeped in that comical thought, I turn to ask the World Wide Web what that word actually means. As usual I was pleasantly surprised with such words as, elegant, exalted, excellent, fair, famous, favorable, fine, glorious, imperial, magnificent, majestic, nice, noble, pleasant, queenly, royal, sovereign, splendid, stately, statuesque, virtuous.
Now that is certainly a fashion line I would be interested in investing in!
Now lets break this down a bit, because I used to be satisfied with Walmart branding but if the Lord wants to show me a new wardrobe then I want to open the fabric of my mind and allow him to reveal each Regal Wear accessory.
Let's have a national tiara day!
And so we shall my sisters in Christ. Are you ready?
Am I a bride in waiting, working hard for a prize that I will only come into once I cross the Pearly Gates? ``Those are questions I bring before God as I type.
"Wear a crown of righteous thoughts", I hear him say.
How simple of an answer is that? "Out of righteous thoughts come elegant and exalted acts of kindness,"whispers the spirit of such holiness and truth.
Suddenly I see a pattern developing from the very definition of Regal wear as stated above. Can those words breath life into my crown and polish me new?
No heady or haughty spirit within, as the crown of righteousness comes in.
Oh how I long to walk in excellence and wear a fine and fair wardrobe fit for a queen. We are called and chosen for royality ladies and all we have to do is walk in acceptance and favor. Can we but arise each day with our heads held high, because if we fail to raise that chin our tiara may fall right into that bowl of cereal. Imagine getting all the way through breakfast with our crowns in place.
We can not stumble, we must not faint while in the first hours of the day. We are to reign victoriously with a jeweled stance of praise.
Mirror, mirror on the wall, no tarnish on my stately call.
Yes, talk back to that mirror ladies! Look through God's heavenly perspective of who you are in Christ. The glasses are not rose colored, they are purified through the saving of grace. My how those diamonds shine as your crown sparkles with truth. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the shine of majestic youth!
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who will catch me if I fall? If we really are the head and not the tail it would be much wiser to choose diamonds and a veil? Oh how every little girl loves to see herself in a mirror, with a beautiful little tiara in place, but that desire does not stop at childhood.
To often I have stood in front of a mirror, struggling to see if my tail was a perfect size, I have to laugh now, as the carnal veil is lifted and I see how gifted this scripture really is.
